I believe in a two way approach, wherein there is interaction between the student and teacher. The focus should be on complete understanding of the subject.
Since my sessions are interactive, students look forward to my classes. I include an element of fun with quizzes and games relates to the topics taught, towards the last 5 mins of the class.
This makes the children understand the topics and answer the questions related to them, and helps me as a teacher to assess if they have have understood the topics perfectly or not.
