My wealth of experience through secondary school and higher institution of learning with many role models that have impacted positively in my life has given me great reasons I have to impact positively and meaningfully into the life of innocent children because I believe if they can get it right, the whole entire universe will definitely feel their impacts. Also, my direct experience of working with children in a summer school had proved to me that, it is really my true personal interest. Furthermore, my career ambitions lie in emancipating the young mind to greatness.
I have a genuine passion for working with children which became apparent to me in my National Youth Service place of primary assignments where I tutored the junior and senior school students to win many laurels in school competions organized by Science Teachers Association of Nigeria of Anambra State.
Although my first degree in Biochemistry presented the sort of academic and intellectual challenge that I was seeking having gone through stages of seminar presentations, group assignments presentations and students work experiences which was done in a company that supported the growth and development of education as part of their community social responsibilities, we visited so many schools where as a volunteer, I taught them basic sciences and the turn out and response of the learner's had given me the right step to follow.
In a PGDE course I registered for in 2017, I made up my mind after teaching practice at Ogijo community high school of personal commitment into a disciplined and informed body of knowledge and skills. I thought that I already have a deep respect for children which necessitated my interest in child psychology course which give me the upper edge than other courses learnt.
I believe my experience with progressive science initiative PSI/PMI training attended in the August,2023 organised by The WorldBank and Centre for Project Based Learning, and Ogun state government had given me the rudiments of teaching Chemistry and other STEM subjects with 21st century method of impactation and digitalization of knowledge which has positioned me to strive more so as to bring about changes in world and global science educational improvement initiatives.
Outside the classroom, my interests include reading science fiction, and a passion inspired in me by excellent teacher. I also enjoy travelling and mentorship which has made me to travel far and wide to attend science conferences and workshops and discharge the new inventions and knowledge to students I have opportunity to mix with .
According to my faith, I also believe that teaching is a profession which involves the whole personality of the teacher and the rewards are not just for learner's but for the generality of mankind and betterment of humanity.
I am very sure that this teaching role will help me to develop myself more both academically and personally and have fulfilments of my dream of contributing to the science world at global level more than national levels I have experienced in the past 10 years.
As a Microsoft Innovative Education Experts trained and recognised in 2022, I believe the wealth of experience, the collaboration efforts with series of encouragement tips received, I should be able to offer my learner's more support, more encouragement and guidance that I received myself. To best of my knowledge, I have impeccable character, excellent communication skills, nobility of mind and very good interpersonal relation skills. Furthermore, I am emotionally and physically stable and also enjoys good health which are all essential requirements for a good teacher and I believe the sky is just the beginning if granted the opportunity to showcased my God given talents as a well trained and qualified teacher.
