With Arabic being my mother tongue and as a recent first-class Law and Politics graduate, I have exceptional skills in speaking and writing the Arabic language in a confident manner. Using my expertise in Arabic, I have effecfively taught numerous students aged between 4 to 7 years on a one-to-one interaction within my home country. With regard to my teaching style, this involves using a range of creative activities such as guided reading and reading aloud in order to stimulate the interests of students from different age groups. Moreover, my way of teaching ranges from drawing primary focus on the pronunciation of the Arabic alphabets for beginners to delving into more complex concepts of the Arabic language such as looking into the play of words and how the meaning of things can change from one concept to the other.
Further, in order to monitor my student's progress, I have administered language assessments for the purpose of evaluating their reading and writing skills in Arabic. Further, as a multilingual individual, it is important for me to highlight that I have sound Arabic-English translation skills which, effectively makes my teaching much easier for students who want to learn Arabic as a new language. Furthermore, since I come from Lebanon which, is located in the Middle East, I am confident that my profound knowledge of Middle Eastern culture will effectively enable me to offer students an understanding of the Arabic language both linguistically and culturally. Lastly, on a final note, I believe that with the experience that I have gained and the techniques I have acquired over the years in teaching Arabic, will undoubtedly help students build fluency in both writing and reading the Arabic language.
