I am a registered secondary teacher with a TSC number and over 3 years of experience. Currently am a teacher at Swaminarayan Academy and also taking some students through homeschooling in IGCSE curriculum from year 8 to 11. Before that, I taught Physics and chemistry from Form 1 to Form 4 at St Benard’s Otaro High School where I gained valuable experience in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and classroom management. I developed a deep understanding of the subjects and have consistently achieved positive results with my students. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also dedicated my time during holidays to providing tuition to students. I have honed my ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and inspire students to develop a genuine interest in the subjects.
Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Education-Science from the university of Kenyatta, graduating with a Second-Class Upper Division. I am also proud to have received awards for my performance in KCSE and KCPE, achieving a B+ and 359/500 marks respectively. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in pedagogy, educational psychology, and subject matter expertise. I am committed to constantly improving my teaching skills through attending professional development workshops and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the education field.
