Mental arithmetic is a method of developing intelligence in a child aged 5 to 14 years. Mental arithmetic develops quick oral calculation. But the main task of Mental Arithmetic is not just to teach a child to count quickly, but:

At first we learn to count on small numbers, with each lesson we will learn new topics and in a certain period of time we will reach hundreds. In our school, they teach to count not only on the abacus, but in the imagination, this is one of the most important stages in education. During the mental calculation, children hold the image of an abacus in their imagination and perform arithmetic operations due to this, their memory develops.
- the concept of attention is developing. During the lesson, we will learn not just to count, but to do two actions in parallel. What do I mean? Counting in imagination and singing songs or reciting a poem at the same time or counting and doing any parallel action. It is a very important skill to concentrate and not pay attention to other factors that can distract.

Why is this happening? Most children develop self-confidence, that children can do something that others cannot, due to the fact that two hemispheres of the brain are involved, children's logic and imagination work better.

I know it also sounds very unclear sometimes. The learning process is not difficult, but it is not simple either. Many children have already received results, the main thing is that parents notice this. You must understand that we will achieve results only in teamwork. I will be your coach, I will teach, supervise, give you feedback after the lesson. The child will have his personal electronic office and I will set tasks for every day for 10-20 minutes a day. As a mother, you should support the child, remind him to complete the tasks, possibly monitor. Our goal is to raise discipline and independence in the child. I can say with confidence that after a year, you will notice this result if you follow all the recommendations.
