I am an enthusiastic secondary school Geography Teacher at Salesian School in Chertsey and have been teaching geography for over 7 years. During my teaching career, I have been a Head of Year 12 and 13 where I was in charge of over 200 UCAS applications. I have also been A Head of Geography, and am now in charge of Learning and Teaching at the school. I am also an examiner for the Edexcel Geography GCSE and A Level. I teach KS3, GCSE and A Level geography (years 12 and 13). I have taught the new Edexcel GCSE and A Level for 7 years now.
Before training to be a Secondary school geography teacher at St Mary's University, I attended Loughborough University where I read Geography (BSc) and achieved a 2:1.
I aim to make lessons engaging and interactive. I will also help provide organisation and structure to pupils learning, to make sure tutees thoroughly cover the curriculum with plenty of time for revision. I will shape our lessons dependent on what you're looking for, whether that being revision techniques, exam practice, essay writing practice, or your understanding of the curriculum.
I am particularly confident with Human geography at A Level and can help with your NEA, whether it is a Physical or Human title. At GCSE, I am very confident on all topics.
