I am a very experienced Visual arts teacher who specializes in developing the full potential of every student. My aim is to support learning and development in the individual and help them discover their artistic potential while also achieving their best possible levels in exams.
I really enjoy teaching visual arts and I have a 100% pass rate at IBDP. My methodology is to gently encourage students to meet course requirements while also positively scaffolding the process. I find that humour and kindness work wonders with many students and help them enjoy the whole process.
Many of my past students now work in the creative industries; among these are animation,graphic design, architecture and graphic design.
I have worked as an art director in the advertising industry and also 35 years as an art teacher and advisor.
