My name is Binita Dev, and I am looking for teaching assignments on this platform.
I am a highly motivated, industrious and confident individual with a keen interest in learning and undertaking challenging teaching assignments.
I have completed my graduation and post graduation in Botany from University of North Bengal. I have been a consistent student throughout and ranked among the top students in the university. After completing M.Sc, I had qualified UGC-CSIR NET, ICAR-NET, GATE in the stream life sciences. I had registered for a full-time PhD program in National Institute of Rourkela, Odisha where I have extensively worked on development of renewable energy production. My research experience has given me immense exposure to diverse areas including microbiology, biochemistry, bioprocess technology to name a few. I have published numerous research articles in peer-reviewed journals of high repute. I have submitted my PhD thesis and currently waiting for my defense. In the meantime, I am looking to explore and hone my teaching skills as my long term goal and passion lies in academia. I have utmost dedication towards teaching and would put my best foot forward to excel in any teaching assignment.
As a teacher, my goal is to develop into an efficient educator by using concept-based learning and build research aptitude. I am adept at creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, fostering intellectual curiosity, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. I am proficient at designing and implementing curriculum plans tailored to student needs and learning objectives. Further, I am skilled in adapting teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. I would create and execute various assessment tools to evaluate student progress and understanding. I would also use my knowledge and expertise to construct and frame study materials for preparation of examination and provide guidance in completing course assignments.

Based on my academic background, I would be able to use my expertise to teach the following subjects from higher secondary school level to Masters level.

2. Botany (UG and PG level)

I have previously taught both Higher Secondary students and college students. I am comfortable in both online/offline mode of teaching as per the student preference.

    I worked as a researcher on Bioethanol production from lignocellulose biomass (Jute and Kenaf-mesta): A green fuel for climate change mitigation. I performed experiments and documented results for the experimental work. The findings of the research is communicated to a peer-reviewed scientific journal for publication.

Fee details

    ₹800–1,000/month (US$9.36–11.70/month)

    My fee would depend on whether the teaching assignment involves travelling of more than 2 km from my residence. Also, the number of classes involved would decide the final compensation which is negotiable.
