Am a senior nursing officer working in emergency department in one of the leading institutions in Kenya. I have been training and mentoring students as well as staff for more than 2 years value teamwork and I always deliver before deadlines.
I use both discussion and lecture methods to deliver my results, I also involve the students in written assignments. the student must be ready and willing to participate in the learning, to make the learning interesting I also use case presentations and videos to make the learning enjoyable. i value feedback from the students as it helps to improve on the teaching lessons.
time is key thus its good to have a well laid out and agreed timetable that will guide learning.
the questions and assignments are graded for evaluation purposes.
all my students have a pass rate of 97% in the final exams and none has repeated class.
