I like my students to emerse themselves into the subject matter through open discussion which helps to awaken their inner thinking capabilities that each and every learner is blessed with. Sociology in particular is a social science. Students are advised to be able to chat their perspectives on different sociological disciples through essays. This creates an independent mind in them.
