Coming from a musical family background I was blessed to be introduced to music and tabla at a very early age.I was also part of school bands where my initial shows as a drummer started followed by playing drums for other bands and artists.After school I went to KM MUSIC CONSERVATORY(AR Rahman's MUSIC COLLEGE) in Chennai, where I was blessed to pursue my studies in Western Drums and Percussions under my guru Anantha R Krishnan sir(grandson of mridangam vidwan Palghat Raghu ji) and Matteo Fraboni sir (Italian Jazz Drummer).I was also part of the UTV BINDASS DREAMSTART which provided me scholarship to study at my college.Since then I had the opportunity to learn and experience playing with a variety of artists coming from different genres like rock,jazz, carnatic, hindustani classic,fusion,Bollywood,pop music and others.And now I am excited to share all that i have known all these while,humbly with my students.
