Alyssa AlfonsoTEFL certified native speaker of American English
No reviews yet
As a TEFL certified native speaker of American English, I am confident in my ability to help you take your English skills to the next level. I have experience tutoring both children and adults.
My approach is informal, easygoing, and conversation-based. I believe the best way to learn a language is to use it in authentic settings. We can also use textbooks if you prefer.
Everyone learns differently. I am eager to learn about your unique learning style so we can optimize your outcomes and maximize your progress.
I can also tutor beginner American Sign Language (ASL). I studied ASL for four years.
On a personal note, I grew up in both Cebu and California. Most of my upbringing was spent in Southern California, and I have also lived in Boston, Massachusetts. Thus, I am very familiar with the nuances in communicating with fluent/native speakers in the United States.
Reach out to me and let's set up a session together!
