I am fun, approachable, teachable, friendly, skillful, and gentle. I use play based methods to teach because I believe that the language children understand well is play, and I've used that over the years to teach and the results have been awesome. I love to connect with my students before I teach them because when I connect, it reveals who the child is and what he or she needs and the child gets to feel safe with me and willing to learn. Children are special and they need someone to see them, hear them and know them to be able to help them achieve whatever it is they need to achieve. My ability to teach I not just dependent on my knowledge and experience alone but it also depends on the relationships I've been able to create with each child I have come in contact with. I involve my students in my teaching, I use hands-on activities to help them learn and whatever their learning style is, whether Auditory, visual, kinesthetic, etc. I make sure they learn the best way they can understand and be fully equipped to become global citizens.
