As a tutor, I would describe my teaching style as coaching, instead of offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions, and with the help of demonstration they should find the answers.
I like to use colourful Powerpoint slides and even videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points.
I always put emphasis on practice doing.
I simply try my best with every student because I get to work with students who have different personalities, I always try to define goals with each one. Not what I want to achieve, but why they want to achieve and what they expect from our cooperation. Then, considering their current level of language skills and their personality, I come up with a clear plan for the entire year, including some milestones and tests in order to evaluate our progress regularly.
I encourage students to ask questions and provide me with feedback.
My teaching style is highly adaptable and results driven.
I believe this is something which increases student interest significantly and from my experience, leads to a better learning experience overall.
