I use an open-book policy whereby learners are free to ask questions. I also allow them to provide their inputs. I use PowerPoint presentations and videos to catch the learner's interest. The first part of my lessons involve whatever the learner has learnt at school. I revise and add on to that content. Thereafter, I provide worked examples and go through them with learners. Once learners are able to grasp the worked examples, I provide them with activities. I also assist with homework and assignments (I do not complete the assignment but instead, guide learners into achieving marks on their own strength). The characteristics that make me a good teacher is that I am patient with learners and allow them to be comfortable. I also come up with different ways to teach concepts to learners.
