I have a teaching experience of 21 years but every day I learn from others.
I design my lessons based on the needs of my students and are differentiated in nature. The lessons are designed to improve conceptual understanding of a topic or concept. Topics are summarised and worksheets and resources are given for reinforcement. Exam support is given through revision and gaps are analysed for designing strategies of learning.
Some of the tools that I use are visible thinking routines, online quizzes, and online simulations. every lesson ends with an exit ticket that is use to assess student understanding. Lessons are mostly designed to connect with the real world so that students can find the connection and the relevance of their learning. Skills are developed through the science investigation cycle.
