I am very patient with my students. Although my aim is for them to learn how to think for themselves and find the answers on their own, I give hints to help them out.
I always check for understanding after every topic that is discussed by asking questions. I also ask them if they have any questions they would like to ask or any clarifications.
I always tell my students that if there is something that is not clear, they are free to let me know so I can repeat that particular part of the discussion. Also when I ask questions, I advise my students that if the question is not clear they can ask me to repeat it. I would rather repeat a question than have a student answer me incorrectly because they did not understand what was asked.
I am a very jolly and positive person who likes to always look at the bright side of things.
I end my classes by asking students what they learned from me today.
