I have taught courses like Applied Physics, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Differential Equations for Physicists, Electrodynamics, Introduction to Plasma Physics, Thermal Physics and Waves and Oscillations at the undergraduate level and Classical Mechanics, Thermal Physics and Plasma Physics at the graduate level.
My goal in teaching is to deliver the lectures in a way that the student can develop their concepts so that they can enjoy learning and start thinking about the physical situations around them. In all of my courses, I try to induce critical thinking by giving them real-life examples and asking them to come up with a solution. This process prepares them for a broad range of demands in future academic and occupational settings. For undergraduate students, I designed assignments and quizzes in a way that they integrate their minds and available mathematical results to reach a solution. More specifically, my approach to teaching is inspired by three objectives: develop concepts, integrate knowledge, and foster curiosity.
My lectures are always supported by lecture notes in which the mathematical analysis is presented precisely. However, I also provide them with a few additional references where the topic is explained in detail. I use texts that cover the major concepts of the course in-depth as it is beneficial for both types of students, those who are novices and look for a more detailed background to develop their concepts and also for those who know some background about the topic and want to deepen their understanding.
