Hello, my name is teacher Melo and I am going to be teaching you English. I am an energetic and patient person, who enjoys teaching English as language. I have been teaching grade 1 learners for 3 years in South Africa. I have Bachelors degree in Education Foundation Phase meaning I can teach grade 1-3, I am also able to teach young learners and adults. I am passionate about providing none English speakers with the right foundation to allow themselves to be able to become proficient with expressing themselves fully in English. My approach is to be open minded accomodative and attentive. I have a great command of English therefore teaching learners, students and adults is a calling for me.

Teaching style

My teaching style is being open minded, energetic, fun and diverse. My reason for this is that learners have different ways of learning therefore I will ensure that I use props, charts flash cards and pictures to make sure that the lesson is as interesting as possible. This will enable my learners to understand what is being taught since we have learners who have different learning abilities, my diverse teaching style and method will cater to all these abilities. This will ensure that my all learners grasp what is being taught visually, through listening and reading what is being taught. I want to enhancing their English learning experience because I am all for an inclusive and accomodative classroom environment.

Hobbies and interests

I am a person who loves to travel and learn different cultures in the world. I like to read, swim and play hockey. I enjoy interacting with different people. I am very friendly and teaching is one of my favorite things to do.
