I am Hou Yu, a teacher from Shandong, the hometown of Confucius, who has been working in the field of Chinese as a foreign language for more than 20 years. I have been working in the field of Chinese as a foreign language for five years, and now I am a full-time Chinese teacher with rich teaching experience. Among my students, there are children aged five or six as well as elderly people aged 60 or 70. Taking students' learning needs and goals as the starting point, we will understand the difficulties and learning problems of students' learning knowledge, arrange a reasonable classroom environment, and make personalized PPT courseware so that students can learn Chinese in a good classroom atmosphere. In the past five years, I have been committed to the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, setting up oral language teaching, situational teaching, classroom interactive teaching, game teaching, etc. Besides teaching Chinese to children, I have studied the theories of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and intercultural communication, and applied these theories into teaching, and achieved good teaching results.

When teaching children, I will make children fall in love with Chinese through making props, singing children's songs, telling idioms and stories, and playing games according to the psychological characteristics of children at different ages. For students learning oral English, I will design different dialogues for them, and bring students into real life situations to consolidate oral English. For HSK students, vivid PPT will be combined with the knowledge points of the text. At the same time, I will send synchronized exercises to students. There are a large number of HSK simulation exercises to help students succeed in the grade examination.

Excellent students who love Chinese are the driving force for me to become an excellent teacher of Chinese as a foreign language. First of all, I need to apply what I have learned and integrate the knowledge and teaching theories into the classroom. At the same time, I also need to enrich my classroom teaching with my Chinese knowledge through self-learning.
