Hello my name is Christiaan I am originally from South Africa. I have a combined 6 years of teaching experience ranging between South Africa, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. I have also gained 2-3 years of online teaching during the pandemic. I have a passion for teaching as I like to teach students methods to improve themselves and I love being able to have a positive influence in people's lives, whether it is through language, sports or psychology. My interests are sports, the outdoors, reading and my hobbies include playing/ watching sports and collecting coins and foreign currency notes.

I have 6 years teachings experience. I have a bachelor degree in Sport Psychology, I am also currently pursuing a Masters degree in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health through King's College in London, I am TEFL certified and I have taught a variety of subjects, Second language, science (Gr 4 & 5), Physical Education, Life Skills, Life Orientation, Ethics, Moral Education. I use a methodology of relating materials to common daily activities or concepts, a type of relational teaching as we learn better through connecting things to something we already know.
