I am a very kind teacher, I address my students politely. I never got angry with my students and always tried to understand their knowledge and situation. If someone fails to understand my words I try to search what are my mistakes and what are his/her mistakes.
I have education experience not only in Sri Lanka but also in Russia. Because I was graduated from Lumumba University in Moscow. I have visited Australia, China and Brunei to participate in Education workshops. Furthermore, I can manage not only Sinhala and English but also well in Russian. I have some fair knowledge of Spanish, Italian and German.
If a student is unable to understand something I always try to explain it even a hundred times until he/she recovers it. I know some short calculation methods and offer them to my students. I know well that the future of my students depends on my work capability and capacity.

Experience

  • Veyangoda (Sep, 1985–Sep, 2009) at Veyangoda Siyane National College of Education
    I started my teaching work as a graduate science teacher in 1979 as a Government teacher. Read lessons in Chemistry Physics and Mathematics for Advanced level students from 1979 to 1985. Then I joined to Siyane National College of Education as a Lecturer. I read lectures in Chemistry Physics and ICT for 24 years. Total teaching experience is 35 years before retirement. Nowadays also I work as an individual tutor in the above subjects for advanced-level students in Sri Lanka.
