From the little bit of teaching experience I've had, I managed to get a learner in Grade 12 to pass English. Everybody else thought he was going to fail. In another instance I disregarded the curriculum and just had fun with two learners during their oral period. I asked them to prepare their favourite song, which they would then sing to us. One of them later ended up winning gold in a singing competition as a result of this. I love to teach and encourage language skills. Mostly my teaching style is informal, relaxed and creative.
