I teach my students in friendly zone because every good teacher is a good friend but no compromise on study.we can not force any student to study because we can't change any body forcefully but politely it's possible.
As a home tutor I follow these rules to teach my students

1. Understand the student's needs: Begin by assessing the student's current level of understanding and identifying their specific learning needs. This will help you tailor your teaching approach accordingly.

2. Set clear goals: Establish clear learning objectives for each session or lesson. This will give both you and the student a sense of direction and purpose.

3. Plan your lessons: Create a structured lesson plan that includes a variety of activities and resources to engage the student. Break down complex topics into smaller, manageable sections and incorporate different teaching methods (e.g., explanations, examples, visual aids, hands-on activities) to cater to different learning styles.

4. Establish a positive learning environment: Create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where the student feels encouraged to ask questions and participate actively. Offer praise and constructive feedback to boost their confidence.

5. Use a variety of teaching resources: Utilize a range of teaching materials such as textbooks, workbooks, online resources, educational apps, videos, and interactive tools. This will help keep the lessons interesting and cater to different learning preferences.

6. Encourage active learning: Promote active learning by incorporating student-centered activities. Encourage discussions, problem-solving, critical thinking, and hands-on exercises that allow the student to apply what they have learned.

7. Adapt to individual learning styles: Every student has a unique learning style. Some may be visual learners, while others may prefer auditory or kinesthetic methods. Observe your student's learning style and adapt your teaching techniques to match their preferences.

8. Provide regular assessments: Regularly assess the student's progress through quizzes, tests, or assignments. This will help you identify areas where they need further support and adjust your teaching accordingly.

9. Communicate with parents or guardians: Maintain open communication channels with the student's parents or guardians. Keep them informed about the student's progress, areas for improvement, and any additional resources they can use to support their learning at home.

10. Be patient and flexible: Every student learns at their own pace, so be patient and provide additional explanations or examples when necessary. Adapt your teaching strategies based on the student's progress and feedback.
