My name is Anna. I'm a graduate from Maseno University with Degree in Education Arts with IT. Currently I'm pursuing Master's Degree at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology.
I'm a certified teacher registered with the Teachers Service Commission. I have 11 years experience in classroom teaching.
In my teaching career, I have attended numerous workshops and seminars which have enabled me to improve my skills.
I am also a trained examiner with the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
I do apply a variety of teaching methods such as lecture method, discussion groups and field work.
I also use various teaching and learning aids like wall charts, videos, 3D learning materials and this makes my classes very lively and enjoyable while at the same time content oriented.
At the beginning of every lesson, I do set objectives together with my learners. Periodically, I do formative assessments to know if the learning objectives were achieved .
I organise make up lessons in case an area is not well covered
Throughout my entire teaching, students have always scored highly in my teaching subjects and occasionally, I've been awarded certificate(s) of excellence.
