Engr. Jonayka Azarias is a college instructor in the Civil Engineering Department of the College of Engineering and Architecture of the University of the Cordilleras. She is a Chemical Engineer by profession, a graduate of Saint Louis University, and taking up her Master's Degree in Chemistry at Benguet State University.

Teaching has always been her passion. She imparts her real-life experiences to her students and encourages them to pursue their goals and dreams in life with enthusiasm and positivity. She is detail-oriented and imparts discipline to her students, especially in making sure that works/activities are submitted on time and contain relevant/quality answers.

The journey of her engineering career has been a tough one since she has to struggle with her studies and work at the same time. Due to this, she makes sure that her time is used properly to ensure quality outputs.
