Ms. Neelum Afridi is a multifaceted individual with a passion for literature, human rights, and social activism. As a published poet and prose writer, she has showcased her creative talents through various magazines, newspapers, and online platforms. Neelum's dedication to empowering women led her to serve as the former President and founding member of Young Women Writers' Forum, Peshawar, where she has been actively involved for nearly a decade.

With a background in education, Neelum currently works as a lecturer in English at GGDC Palosai, Peshawar. She is also a committed human rights practitioner, contributing her expertise as a district committee member from Khyber at the Commission on Status of Women, KP. Neelum's literary prowess has taken her to prestigious events such as the Islamabad Literature Festival, Quetta Literary Festival, and Lahore Literature Festival, where she has conducted engaging sessions and shared her insights.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Neelum was honored with the Bint-e-Hawa Award 2023 for her remarkable work in literature, art, education, and women empowerment. She has also participated in international conferences, including one in Germany, where her poem "An Arrow" was presented. Neelum's dedication is further demonstrated through her role as a Professional Storyteller in Story Kit, Activity Based Learning (ABL).

With her extensive experience in various domains, Neelum is a social activist and educationist who believes in personal growth as a means to contribute to societal improvement. Her diverse background is coupled with her passion for literature and commitment to bring social change.
