People matter, so numbers also matter. Functions are the interactions between numbers that we learn about in order to become better problem solvers, predictors of outcomes, and productive citizens.

I've taught math for more than eight years, and I'm a highly trained instructor of diverse curricula in Algebra I, II, and III as well as Precalculus, Geometry, and Calculus. My main objective in both of my tutoring sessions is to create a warm, inclusive environment where students feel free to ask questions. I make an effort to make each tutoring session as dynamic as I can since I think that engaged student participation is essential. I often take a break to answer any questions and make sure that students fully understand each phase of the problem-solving procedure.

I like connecting practical applications to every idea we talk about. Oh, and I have a ton of math jokes, some of which you might find corny:). However, laughter is the best way to connect two people, so give me a call and let's see if I can help.
