Nailah Nur Primary Education and Teaching of English (TESOL)
No reviews yet

My name is Nailah and I'm currently a University student at Taylors University, studying Education, specializing in Primary Education and minoring in Teaching English.

I'm competent in English and completed my IGCSEs, thus I am familiar with the curriculum (though, I need to revisit and revise the curriculum). My IGCSE results are 3: A*, 4: A, 2: Bs. My current CGPA in University is 3.91.

I recently just did my first Internship in Taylors International School Puchong, TISPC, and have gained a little experience with what its like working and teaching with kids.

As your future teacher, I aim to try my best to help you with what you NEED and WANT with your learning progress through reinforcing content you may lack understanding in, focusing on your weaknesses, and accommodating my method to your learning style (VARK: visual, audio, reading, kinaesthetic).

I will also apply pedagogical knowledge acquired from what I learned at University about teaching alongside my own learning experience to ensure you obtain an enriching learning experience. Not only that, I will use the available resources I have and utilize them the best way I can to provide the appropriate instruction for your learning (slides, worksheets, past papers, etc)

I always believe that learning through experience and constant practicing through past papers are what helps best to master your skill and memory. Overall, I believe that being a good teacher means; building a positive teacher-student relationship and creating a positive learning environment which I hope we can achieve in this experience.

Fee details

    RM50/hour (US$11.24/hour)

Fees can vary depending on how specific the curriculum students are studying under. General knowledge and subject is easier and more lenient to teach as it doesn't require certain textbooks and steps to follow. However, with Cambridge, IGCSE, or EDEXCEL, I would expect a higher fee as requirements from the curriculum are more specific (and in case I would need to purchase a textbook or print out past papers that may help with the learning process).
