Hello,
I’m Arwa and I found my passion in English language teaching and getting to know different types of students from around the world. I have a total of 14 years of experience in ESL teaching. Teaching grades 9 to 12 in international schools helped me master the required skills to handle different types of learners with different backgrounds, levels and skills. Designing and giving conversation classes is always amusing and very effective that my students are always hungry for more. I am exceptionally skilled in using modern teaching methodologies that rely on inquiry-based learning and self progression.
I’m Cambridge-CELTA certified and Ofqual TEFL qualified. Some of my qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree from faculty of Arts and literature, Pre-Masters in linguistics and a band 7.5 IELTS. Attended many conferences and workshops that tackle the most recent pedagogies and how to use them effectively in the classroom.
I seek to use my skills and experience to support students to reach their highest potential. I could use my research skills to develop effective materials for students and my written and verbal communication skills to convey messages in a simple way.
