Hello!

My name is Laily. I currently live in Solo, Indonesia. I teach Indonesian for Speakers of Other Languages (BIPA), both in offline and online classes. Teaching BIPA is my side job while I prepare for my PhD.

I have been a BIPA teacher since 2022 when I was still taking my master degree. Last year, I started my journey as a BIPA teacher when I joined a volunteer program from Turkey. The teaching was done offline. I was an expatriate speaking buddy from Turkey for three months. On several occasions, I also taught BIPA to expatriates from China, Belgium, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. I also had the opportunity to be one of the guest lecturers teaching BIPA in the Visiting Lecturers in Madagascar, Visiting Lecturers at Philippine Normal University, and Visiting Lecturer in Kyrgyzstan programs. In addition, I also taught BIPA offline at Yogyakarta State University for Thammasat University students who participated in the Summer Course program for two months.
