I’m a private English tutor certified with TEFL that has experience in teaching local immigrants in the US for 3 years. I am familiar with how beginners of a language develop and have personally attended classes of different languages. My mother growing up was from Europe and learned English at the same time as me. I can pick up on how to best bridge gaps to improve speaking and understanding at a quicker rate than the typical language teachers by focusing on the most important details that would make you deadly if you were to be dropped off in an English-speaking country.
I tailor my lessons to the level that you’re at and use practical methods to teach you grammar, figures of speech, and vernacular in a shorter amount of time than a language academy teaching English A1. The intent is to also make learning engaging by referencing literature and culture as examples to better help with associating with the language. In the past I’ve attended HB studios in New York and have acted off-Broadway, and have done commercials and voice work. I’m based in Valencia and work via zoom sessions, price 21 euros single/small group session.
