Hi My name is Arnold, and I'm an English, Afrikaans and History tutor. I’ve been tutoring for the last 8 years.

Over the years, I discovered that what learners aren't getting at school, most of the times, is they struggle to understand a concept. We've created a culture where things like parrot reading and absorbing information without critically engaging with it is the new norm. My teaching methods aim to break such a culture- by helping the learner develop their understanding through using their theory they learned at school and finding ways to apply them into real world applications. My methods encourages learners to visualize what they learned at school.

I'm very passionate about education and passing on my own knowledge and experiences onto the next generation of leaders in our country. I, as an educator, have the responsibility to ensure that every learner I engage with, feels heard and understood.
