As a grammar geek fascinated by the way languages work, I stay abreast of the latest developments in Educational Technology - but also have a reverence for the tried-and-true methods that people have used for generations. I'm passionate about teaching, and I'm not "just" an English teacher; I'm also a culture coach and former theatrical director who can help you improve your social skills, presentation skills, public speaking skills, and critical thinking skills, among many other things. My teaching style is informed by a background in psychology, personality development, and American corporate culture and customer service. I've lived in the Netherlands, Hungary and Mexico and learned the language in each of those countries, so I also know what it feels like to try to communicate in a foreign language. I would be honored by the opportunity to assist you as you build the "hard" and "soft" skills that are the foundation for fluency and confidence.
