I Born in a musical family grew up with music. started learning vocal music with my Mother Srimati Balaka Chakraborty at a very young age when he was only 5. After learning with his Mother for few years since 1994 He went to learn with Guru Acharya Pradip Karmakar, senior disciple of pandit Ajay Chakraborty (Patiyala Gharana). After complete his graduation,he went for talim from Pandit Ajay Chakraborty (Patiyala Gharana) and advance himself under the tutelage of Guru Late Pandit Mohan Lal Mishra(Banaras Gharana)..He had his discipline rigorous Talim of Khayal, Thumri, Bhajan and ghazal with her Gurus in the manner of a systematic Guru-Shishya Parampara tradition since last 20 years. he has also been guided by Vidushi Kamala Bose ji (Kirana & Bhatt Gharana
