SYRILLAH MATAGAMATHEMATICS AND BUSINESS STUDIES
No reviews yet
I use the following teaching styles and methods; 1.Group learning- segmenting students into groups is a great way to teach them skills in collaboration. They can discuss subjects and learn about perspective of others. 2.Technology based learning- I use technology in classroom to make teaching more efficient and aid in student learning. I use devices like computers and tablets to read materials, conduct research or play educational games. 3.Demonstration.- I encourage students to come up with problem solving strategies, ask questions and simulate what they have learnt. I achieve this by showing presentations, images and experiments. 4.Inquiry- based learning- This promotes the idea of learning by investigation where students complete projects, ask questions and find answers by themselves. The goal is for students to solve problems and discover information on their own. What makes me a great teacher is; my ability to listen actively not only to their students, but also to their colleagues, school administrators, and students’ family members, being adaptable and flexible allows you to flow between different theories of learning and modes of teaching, ability to understand what another person is feeling or experiencing simply putting myself in another person’s shoes, Creativity, Collaborative nature, Respectful Attitude, Free of Bias and Patience.
