Himanshu has 22 years of experience in teaching and administration. He has been a Faculty at a number of
premier Educational Institutes across India.Presently, he is heading Army Public School Jaisalmer, where he
supervises a diverse group of staff as well as approximately 1200 students. Before joining this, he headed
STBA (CBSE Aff), Bikaner (Strength: 300).He also worked as a member of the English Faculty (PGT, Exam.
Incharge,Nabet Accreditation Coordinator, British School Assistance & ISA Coordinator) in Mody School
Laxmangarh (Member IPSC) (A Division of MIER). He is also currently working as an Academic Counsellor in
The English and Foreign Languages University Hyderabad ( a Central University) where he deals with
Linguistics M.A. Programme . He is a dynamic visionary leader and solid team player with a proven track record
in collaborating with the school community, increasing student academic ability, and maintaining excellence in

Himanshu’s Educational and Professional credentials include an M.Phil In English; Post Graduate Diploma in
Teaching of English from The English and Foreign Languages University Hyderabad)(Two refresher courses of
UGC)(equivalent to M.Phil) ; Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of English from The English and Foreign
Languages University Hyderabad (One refresher course of UGC); B.ed (Teaching of English);,Master degree in
English along with General English Course from British Council (New Delhi). He has also done 2 courses from
NPTEL and also pursuing MA (Edu) from IGNOU.
Himanshu has planned organized and supervised special events like Inter School Quiz contest, debate
competitions, sports Competitions, poem Recitation, Investiture Ceremony, Annual Day, VIP Visits etc. He has
also worked as a Centre Superintendent, Head Examiner (English Core -Class 12),and Deputy Superintendent in
CBSE. Further, he presented papers in International and National Seminars and chaired a session in
National seminar. Three of his papers were selected for publication in ISBN journal. He also edited School
Magazine, Newsletters, Prospectus, Annual Report, Invitation card etc.
Himanshu enjoys and is committed to preparing students for various sporting events. He received a silver medal
in state athletic meet (4X100m). He is skilled in badminton and some of the students he coached participated in
the national competition. He is also the winner of Open Table-Tennis, Badminton, Basketball and Cricket at
district level.
