My name is Ann. I'm a young tutor who believes that everyone is gifted differently but this doesn't mean that no one can change. I'm a strong believer that everyone needs more than one chance and patience and with the right mindset one can reach greater heights. With the right tutor and someone to hold your hand and show you the way, you can achieve a lot. I treat all my students equally without any discrimination. I am patient with everyone and I will walk with you on this journey and I believe you will see great changes. A lot of people have the perception that sciences are difficult but with the right person to guide you, you will discover that it's not as hard.
On my first encounter with a student, I first take time to know them and learn how and where the student is academically. With that information, I use it now to come up with a plan to teach them. We'll do some theory and leave them with some assignments to do over the weekend when they're not in school. What makes me a great teacher is that this is my passion and I make sure my students feel safe around me and they'll love what I'm teaching. I make sure to draw a fine line between being too friendly and being too strict. I'm a firm believer that learning should be fun in as much as it should be serious.
