I am a dedicated tutor who's main sense of achievement comes from the success of her students. I vary my teaching style depending on the strengths and weaknesses of the student and have successfully tutored students who face learning difficulties. I believe I am motivational and am direct and honest with the students about the work and effort they must put in but also in relating their experiences to mine which is essential for maintaining a positive relationship. I also maintain a positive and open relationship with the parents' of my students. The majority of my students are completing their GCSE and A-levels and, since their time with me, their grades have been rising to those of A's and A*'s. Despite having not completed the American syllabus myself, I have taught students this syllabus and I always spend time tailoring my sessions to them and specific subject-specification. I am available to tutor during the week and on the weekend and fit my schedule around what is best for the student and parents! My specialties are maths, economics and history (University, GCSE and A-level), however, having received A's and A*'s in my GCSE's across 10 subjects, I am available to teach those as well; notably biology, chemistry, physics, german, english (language and literature), geography, design and technology and computer science. I look forward to hearing from you!
