I am a teacher who has a passion for learning and teaching. I treat my students as my own sons and daughters. I believe that you cannot teach if you don't reach so establishing relationships with my students is one of my utmost priorities. I also believe that empowering students by giving them agency, building on their research, critical thinking, social, literacy, communication, numeracy, and self-management skills, and giving them opportunity to discover learning on their own should be the goal of teaching. Students are not merely recipients of learning but are co-creators of learning. Focusing on skill building more than bombarding the kids information that are easily accessible in the Internet is one of the most important 21st century learning and teaching principles I live by. I am excited to build a relationship, not just to my students but also to the family they represent, and share a love and passion for life-long learning. See you soon!
