I have taught Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science/Data Processing as well as ICT at different levels as a core full time teacher. I have also taught Data Analytics, Statistics and Research Methodologies, Chemistry and Biology. I am passionate about imparting knowledge most especially Mathematical ideas. I have a strong desire for using my knowledge, skills and experience to provide effective and desired outcomes. I have teaching experience spanning eight (8) years which acquaints me with primary, secondary and undergraduate syllabi especially in the fields of Mathematics and Statistics. I am well acquainted with IGCSE, SAT, GRE, GMAT, WAEC, NECO, JAMB Curricula. As a teacher I believe that teaching methods geared at imparting knowledge are learner-dependent. Notwithstanding I employ a combination of questioning, concept, problem solving, activity, brainstorming among other methodologies.
First and foremost, students are at the heart of what I do. I welcome diversity of every type (culture, religion, academic background, personality, or perspectives) and in every arena. I support differences with trust, understanding, and a community spirit. United by a common goal of cura personalis, I guide and assist students in their mathematical evolution. Towards that end, I encourage and strongly promote experimentation with innovative teaching and learning methods in the classrooms. I strive to make students feel successful in their understanding of mathematics, and delight in those moments when our students blossom and evolve in their mathematical ability.
