I'm an enthusiastic teacher from the United States. I have been an English teacher in Moscow for years with prior tutoring experience from an American university. During university, my studies focused on linguistics.

I use a variety of methods to ensure student success, but I am fond of gamification, Total Physical Response, project-based exercises, and task-based exercises. I tend to use the communicative language teaching approach with all students, meaning that lessons are exclusively in English.

During lessons, students will focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing. I have worked with all levels from A1 to C1 and all age ranges. Due to my experience both in the United States and in Russia, I find that students learn languages easier when the topics interest them. As a result, I tailor my lessons to suit the interest, as well as needs, of my students. Whether it is the history of the United States or modern US society, I cover any and all topics of interest. In addition, I also recommend American TV programs, movies, songs, and books to students to help with their growth.
