I am a past QEC student with advanced degrees in Biology and Environmental Sciences. I have been teaching and tutoring at high school, undergraduate and graduate levels for over a decade now. I like one-to-one or small groups to teach to, with a heavy emphasis on practising answering questions and working through problem sets. I explain in English, French or Kreol depending on what feels more comfortable to the student(s) in the moment. I also strongly encourage approaching a topic from multiple directions and testing multiple ways of finding a solution. I favour kindness and light heartedness but I do insist on good time management, good writing skills and properly organized notes from students.

Fee details

    Rs2,500–3,000/month (US$53.13–63.76/month)

    If I have to supply printouts, then I include the cost in the fee. If additional practice sessions are needed ahead of a quiz or exam, the extra time can make the fee adjust upward.
