I did my M.Sc on Zoology and had been teaching science and maths since a long time. I believe in learning science through pictorial description as it makes easier for the child to understand and remember the topic. I prefer teaching from the basic (though it requires more time) as it helps in building a strong foundation which helps in the long run for a student. I also take frequent tests in order to analyze whether the child has been able to understand the topic completely. For me, regular practice is the key to have a strong hold of the subject.
