I worked as a senior-scale assistant professor at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Directorate of Online Education, Manipal University Jaipur. Previously associated with Jain (Deemed-to-be university) and Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous). I currently have eight years of academic experience. Apart from my PhD in film studies, I am a UGC-NET JRF fellow and have also qualified for the SET in journalism. I have presented various research papers at national and international conferences and have several research publications and book chapters to my credit.

Has created educational content on TV production for the E-content series produced by the EMMRC, University of Calicut, for the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), New Delhi. I also developed e-contents and e-tutorials for the Directorate of Online Education for the courses Basics of Audio-Visual Communication, Media Laws, Public Relations, Communication Research, and Film Appreciation.
