The primary task of teachers is to impart knowledge and information to students. In this approach, teaching and assessment are viewed as separate entities. Student learning is measured through assessments. In a student-centered approach to learning, teachers and students play an equal role. A teacher's primary task is to coach and facilitate students' overall understanding of learning and skills. Student learning is measured through group projects, assessments. Teaching and assessment are integrated; Student learning is continuously measured during teacher instruction.
