My teaching strategy is primarily based on learners-centered class as it encourages active participation and individualized learning. This approach instills a sense of ownership fostering motivation and commitment.
To make learning a fun experience, along with the topic-related exercises, I like to include audio/video based tasks, language-learning games. My lessons incorporate stories, newspaper articles, blogs, social media posts for a better understanding of content and context. These activities make students confident enough to share their ideas, present their views and opinions and voice their thoughts on the subject. When students realize their voice being stimulated, they are more engaged in the tasks and activities.
I make efforts to build and improve relations with my students ensuring I am always approachable to them. I gain their trust in believing I am genuinely interested in their academic success and want them to be competent. I am merely a guide and facilitator, encouraging students to accept responsibility for their learning rather than maintaining authority myself. I believe it's not only teaching and learning but a strong teacher-student bond.
