I'm a professional Quran and Arabic Teacher that specializes in teaching both children and adults a sound memorisation of the glorious Quran while applying Tajweed,I normally started by breaking the verses for the learner to repeat after me then attaching the words to verse, reading together with the learner and if I am sure the learner is able to recite I then move to the next verse which varies according to the level of the learner's. And also basics of Arabic language to help them blend easily using Qaidatul Nooraniyah and some slides and videos related to the topic for proper understanding of the topic and Deen as well where I emphasis on application and practicals while questioning the learner to measure his level of understanding and application.
I make children to start blending Arabic letters in few days in Shaa Allah.
