I am a patient and dedicated teacher who enjoys teaching. I give tuition to individuals and small groups of students up to a maximum of 18 students per class with a caring approach. I try to make sure that learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation. I help students (primary 1 to 6) develop their skills and achieve their academic goals by providing personalised English tutoring sessions, addressing their learning requirements, identifying weak areas, monitoring their performance. The bilingual teaching method is used for non-English speaking students to help them develop skills in reading, writing, vocabulary enhancement and grammar reinforcement. Lessons are delivered creatively and engagingly which helps students progress. To facilitate learning in a fun and interactive manner, lessons include real-life scenarios with conversation. Students with low grades have made significant progress and gained the self-confidence to accept new challenges across other subjects as well. I am so happy to see my students accepting setbacks as learning opportunities and using these difficulties as stepping stones on their way to achievement. It is my goal as a tutor to help students build confidence in their abilities and develop a lifelong love for learning.
