I have extensive expertise in teaching the Chinese language and culture including calligraphy, Tai Chi (Yang style, WuDang style and Yi style) and Guqin (a traditional seven-string instrument).
As a lifelong learner, I keep studying constantly to improve my subject knowledge and teaching skills.
In April 2021 I obtained the certificate of completion for the course “Developing Your Emotional Intelligence” (LinkedIn Learning).
In September 2021, I enrolled for an MA degree in Education at Bangor University (UK). I gained my Master's Degree in June 2023.
I have completed courses in Mentoring and Coaching, Mental Health, Assessment in Education, National Curriculum, Educational Leadership, Autism, Safeguarding and First Aid at Bangor University.
I enrolled for a Welsh language online learning course in September 2022 and completed it in July 2023.
I am a teacher examiner for GCSE Chinese Speaking.
I am a mentor to a student at Moreland University.
I am an associate member of the British Chinese Language Teaching Society which lead my further study in Chinese teaching and learning.
